The Simba Foundation has directed its resources towards the fight against and the relief from COVID-19 and its impact on Nigerian lives and livelihood.
- Simba has distributed food to daily wage earners who have been affected by lockdowns across the country.
- Simba has donated thousands of masks and hand sanitizers to Okada and Keke drivers and trained them on proper hygiene
- Simba has supported the YPO’s setup of isolation and treatment centre in Lagos, as well as the conversion of the Indo EyeCare Centre into a COVID treatment centre.
- During the lockdown, Simba deployed its resources towards the development of a Safety Shield which is been used in Kekes across the country to enable better social distancing.
- All Simba location including over 100 service outlets have been made social distancing ready according to the NCDC norms.
